What are remainder books? Remainders are publisher’s
overstocks and out-of-print books. When a publisher has returns from
a bookstore, or they have overprinted a title, they "remainder" the
stock to make room for their newer titles. The books are then sold
to wholesalers. We purchase in volumn from wholesalers and redistribute
the books at reduced prices. Some of the product is well traveled,
so the dust jackets may be slightly worn, but we will not ship product
that has any rips, tears, or signs of physical damage. In fact, customers
often comment to us on how surprised they are at the quality of the
product for remaindered books.
Are your books remainder marked? Yes, they
are. Not all publishers mark their books, but it is best to assume
that the product you receive is marked. Some publishers will put a
small black line on the bottom edge, and others will use just a small
dot. We do not mark the books ourselves. Publishers mark the books
so as to ensure they can not be returned as "new" stock.

Is the Online Ordering System secure? Yes,
we have secure socket layer (SSL) for credit card transactions. After
submitting your contact information, you are taken to our secure server
before being asked to submit credit card information.
Can I order Offline? Yes, you can. Our shopping
cart gives you the option of placing an order and then sending offline
payment by check or money order through the mail.
How long before my order is shipped? Most orders
are shipped within 2 days. You will receive a confirmation email of
your order and shipment date. We ship by US Postal Service with delivery
taking approximately 3-5 days to most areas. If you wish other arrangements,
there is an area inside the shopping cart for leaving a message and
making requests.
